Obviously no one likes to stay late, but there's always any anesthesiologist available to help with the case. 🛠️ As orthopedic surgeons, we very much appreciate our anesthesia friends helping keep patients alive while we perform human carpentry on them. Orthopedic surgeons like myself do know where the heart and lungs are, but we don't deal with issues regarding them on a daily basis like our internal medicine colleagues do.
