The Supermicro H8DME-2 motherboard is a good little workhorse if you can get your hands on one! I bought this to build a powerful Windows 2000 Server and coupled it with two 2.6GHz six-core Opteron processors and 8GB of ram. So far it's working great without issues!

Purchased this board to deploy as a pfsense firewall. Bhe board is awsome and the key feature for me was the 4 pci-x slots witch allowed to me install 4 quad port gigabite ethernet cards and with the two onboard I have a 18 port firewall all in one unit with no need for a switch. Great board for router or firewall deployment!
