Pros: - I was informed this might not work right away (by PCpartpicker) because of an needing a update to bios for installing the CPU i bought but i dropped a Ryzen 5 5600x in and it fired up just fine without me doing a thing. (updating bios isn't that hard, did it on a MSI b350 going from a 1400 to 2600 but it was an extra step and I'm lazy) \n- Two of a bunch of features I like (M.2, PCIe x16, PCIe x1, USB 3.2(3 actually), LAN) \n-Beefy heat sinks all around, seems sturdy in general \n- I think it looks pretty slick with my MSI RTX 2060 since they share the same silver and black motif Cons: - Plugging in the power cable in the top left was kinda hard cause its in between the giant heat sink over the ports area and the one labeled MAG\n- No WIFI ( I imagine this is a huge counterpoint for most but don't really use WIFI anyway so its take it or leave it for me)\n- Why are there still a PS/2 port on these things? Maybe i don't know what I'm talking about because i myself haven't found a use but i think they should give us more of stuff we need and let the people with legacy peripherals get adapters/ figure it out. I sure there is some monetary reason somewhere for MSI and mobo makers in general but its time to move on. End rant. Overall Review: I would fully endorse this motherboard as I would the vast majority of MSI products. Ive had three mobos, two GPUs and a internal WIFI card made by this company and id rate them all 4.5+/5 stars. Until i get burned cause it ends up being trash or get one DOA, I look their way first and if the price is competitive with the other major brands i buy it. I'm confident making that recommendation to anyone.

Pros: -Looks great. Black, no LOOK AT ME features\n-Supported my Ryzen 3600 with B550 right out of the box. Even if it didn't, it has the ability to flash BIOS without a CPU\n-Can accept a lot of RAM speeds. Was able to re-use my old 2400Mhz RAM until I buy newer. \n-Supports ECC RAM in non-ECC mode. That's crazy. Never heard of that before. ECC RAM can be super cheap on second-hand auction sites\n-Lots of fan headers. More than I need\n-M.2 screws DID work for me.\n-Saved $$$ not getting unnecessary features of a X570 board. I'm not a heavy gamer so I didn't need all dem lanez\n-PCIe Gen 4 M.2 Cons: -B550 compared to X570, so has less "features", but if you don't need/use them, is that really a con?\n-Only 1 PCIe Gen 4 M.2, but that's good enough for OS boot.\n-OK sound card compared to other boards, but I knew that if I wanted higher quality, I'd put the savings toward a DAC. \n-Only 1Gbps LAN Overall Review: I was teetering between a B550 Tomahawk and this. The major differences to me was the sound card and the LAN card with 2.5 Gbps (an oddly also a 1 Gbps port on the Tomahawk).\n\nI wanted the optical out for audio, but I know that on-board cards are "noisy". If I do hook up optical, I'll spend the money on a DAC or a PCIe card. \n\nI was enticed by the 2.5 Gbps LAN on the Tomahawk but whenI increase my LAN speed, I'm going 10Gbps on CAT6a or fiber with a PCIe card, not 2.5. \n\nI'm not big into RGB lighting and I like the sleek look of this board. Not that it REALLY matters because I'm just putting it into my case and jamming it into my desk. It could be a circus light show going on in there and I wouldn't know it.

Reviewed on www.newegg.com·Ambrose
Pros: Stability-focused no-frills board with the feature set I was looking for. Cons: Taking off one egg because the following situation is not clearly addressed by MSI: Once assembled board would not post. My first guess was it needed a bios update since Ryzen is known to be picky with regards to memory. But how can you flash the bios if i you can't get into it? Thankfully this board features a bios flash button on the back panel. Follow the instructions from MSI to use this feature. In summary: download latest bios from MSI, rename bios file to MSI.ROM and drop it in the root of a FAT32-formatted flash drive. With the computer POWERED OFF, put the flash drive into the lower usb port and push the flash bios button. A red LED will begin blinking indicating the bios is being updated. Once the update is complete the LED will turn off. After I did this the board posted and I was able to move onto installing the OS. Hope this helps anyone who is in the same situation. Overall Review: Of course only time will tell but out of the gate this board appears to be a solid choice for no-frills micro atx builds focused mainly on stability and longevity.

I like this tiny mini PC. I got it because I was downsizing from a Dell 8900. I needed something that could be upgradable for memory, a Wi-Fi card, and an HD. You can use either an SSD or an NVME drive. I loved my old desktop computer components, which were pretty new, and I am cheap; I also like the smaller, less space-constrained chassis. \n\nA laptop today would not fit the bill for upgradability. I also had extra keyboards, a mouse, and monitors. A Laptop isn't as upgradable despite the CPU being comparable. I moved from a 6-Gen CPU to a 12-Gen CPU. Also, for what I do, I don't need more than four cores, so this was more than enough. Switch over to the mini PC was as easy as switching out my drive. I bought it without a HD installed. \n\nNegatives: The MediaTek WiFi card isn't great. I had to upgrade to an Intel chipset. Also, the fan noise is louder than on my other mono PCs. \n\nThis mini PC does the job for me and meets my needs, which are mostly work-from-home office duties, web browsing, and personal communications like email.

Awesome! Great Sound for USB Headset!
Reviewed on www.sweetwater.com·Anonymous
For a couple of years now, I have been in search for a really good pair of USB headsets. Three weeks ago, I looked here on Sweetwater for one but couldn't find a high enough quality one for my requirements. Then, a week ago, I saw a listing for these new USB headsets. Since I already own another pair of Audio-Technia headsets that I am super happy with, I knew these would be very good. I just got these USB headsets in the mail today and have been using them. They rock for USB headset! Very clear and a pretty even sound. <br \/>\n<br \/>\nI initially got these to replace the cheap USB headsets I have owned for a while, but tend to hurt my ear after only an hour of wearing them. Since, I am one longer conference calls I wanted something better.

M.2 slot comes with a heat sink saves $ there. Cons: Manual in the box would have saved time. glad is not only pc in the house.\n I get most people look things up online and down load what you need. but no manual and yet a driver CD Rom. go figure. Great and very fast small form factor PC. Tons of I/O ports and easy setup. Only issue is a loose item inside the frame box. Looks like either a watch type battery (likely) or a temperature sensor. It has 2 wires attaching it to the main board and no visible spot made for it to lay on. Has a rubber type cover. The unit runs quite well and extremely fast. Contacted 'MINISFORUM' about it but they don't seem to understand my inquiry even with 2 attached pics. Be aware you don't contact them for any issues. You go through the seller (Walmart) as I understand it. In any case I am quite satisfied with the product overall.

i was able to get a much powerful barebones computer at a reasonable price. i added my own M.2 NVM-E drive and memory. I had trouble installing Windows 11 because I needed a driver and Minis Forum had no documentation for my issue. I spent many hours trial and errors to find the correct driver. But once found and install the system ran great. The system was bit of overkill for my needs but what-the-heck, right? Only problem I had outside the driver issue was the USB-C video-only port couldnt have my 4K monitor. I had current Intel drivers installed but the screen blanked-out constantly.

This is the best PC which I purchased for a long time. It's fast, quiet, and ease of operating. Even though its small size is one of its neat feature, I found it a little tight at certain places when replacing something but it's all good. I also like the flash %26 ssd drives features for such a small footprint. I found it runs not too hot as I left it in open space, unlike my desktop blowing out hot air every time when it's churning on some heavy tasks. Highly recommended if you're not to uptight about upgrading/replacing components inside it.

Wonderful and fast computer, I like the RGB fans too, it also came with a huge mousepad! I got this just for some gaming but I didn’t really expect it to run bigger games without a GPU, however the AMD chip that is included works pretty good at playing some games on its own, personally I’ve only played up to stuff like Far Cry 4 and Black Ops 3. And with low to medium settings on those it’s hitting near 60 fps. I could recommend this!\nIt’d probably go even further in performance if you get a graphics card.

Very fast, incredible number of I/O ports makes attaching many peripherals easy. Absolutely silent, while it has a fan it does not make any sound. Form factor is great for setting next to monitor. There is little heat coming from this unit. With 32GB of RAM and a fast SSD this computer is fast. With Windows 11 Pro and all of its features, the included hardware feature and a very low price - why doesn't everyone have this?

I used this board as part of an update to an existing PC. The build went together smoothly with no issues. No firmware update was needed to work with the latest Ryzen 5000 series cpu. Driver installation went well, but the MSI software suite is confusing -- not sure it's worth installing the available MSI utilities. From a purely hardware perspective, I would have given this 5 stars.

Super easy to use. You don't need to download a software. All you need is to plug it in and let it rip. The function where you can move the microphone upward to mute yourself is next level. I do remote announcing sometimes, which is why I bought it, and the sound quality is incredible. Would recommend this to anyone doing the same of having conversations on a podcast, streaming, etc.
