Outlook attachments crash Word I am running Office 365 on Mac OSX High Sierra (after upgrading from Office 2016). All latest versions. If I open an email attachment in Word, then "Save As" to the Finder, Word hangs and becomes unresponsive. Sometimes the same thing happens with Preview (i.e. open Outlook email attachment in Preview hangs Preview).

Hi, In Windows mail app you don’t have the option to automatically display a message. Where as when you open outlook.com using Internet Explorer, you can disable that option as shown in my above post. For the option within the mail app you can post the feedback with-in the mail app.

Never open any file attached to a suspicious-looking email. If the email appears to come from a company, contact the company's customer service via phone or web browser to see if the email is legitimate. Search the web for the email subject line followed by the word hoax to see if anyone else has reported this scam.
